We started the business to sell Kafka's KoolTies, which we import from Arizona (where it is HOT).
We can supply KoolTies in plain single colours which you can easily request after looking at the available shades listed on the appropriate web page. It sometimes happens, of course, that not every colour is immediately available from stock. There are also Tie-dye prints and Batik prints. We can supply these on a Pot Luck basis, or you can ask what approximate colour ranges are available. The photos on the Product pages give a (very!) rough impression of examples of old stock There are two bandana prints (one on a red background and one on navy blue), and also three camouflage prints (forest, desert and urban). Sorry! The camouflage photo is not good. To see pictures of the various styles click on the Kafka's KoolTies button on this page and then move via the buttons leading to the specific pages showing the styles. KoolTies help body cooling. They are ideal for anyone who gets hot or feels hot. Tied comfortably on the neck, they cool the blood in the carotid artery, and within minutes you feel the coolness spreading. Many of the patterns are equally suitable for men or women. The head scarf covers the scalp. It was first designed to help disguise hair loss under chemotherapy. It then became popular with people, such as the Arizona fishing fraternity, who spend a long time in the sun. Bill introduced me (Sue) to boating on the Norfolk Broads in a hot spell in June. I tested the head scarf and gave it the thumbs-up. It is sold as a set with a KoolTie in the same colour. A chillow is perhaps a more comfortable way of keeping cool at night. It is not so portable though and cannot be used on the move. |
